Co-penned by Tasker and Jason Ingram, “Love Is The Compass” marks Tasker’s fifth #1 hit and eighth Top 10 single in Australia. Earlier this year, his “Something Beautiful” also topped the TRAA chart for three consecutive weeks.

“I was going through a real moment of trying to work out if the music I made was going to make a difference,” Tasker says of his inspiration for “Love Is The Compass.” “I asked Charlie Peacock, ‘What does it mean to be an authentic artist as a believer?’ He turned to me and he said, ‘at the end of the day, you have to let love be the compass. That’s the thing that inspires and shapes what you do.’”

“Those words were a great reminder of the new reality that Jesus ushers in, as He shows us what love looks like, by ‘humbling Himself to the point of death on a cross’ to save us, to serve us,” Tasker continues. “And it doesn’t end there for those who trust Him. The way people will know we follow Him is by the love we have for one another. Love truly is our guide and compass.”
